Skills AI is a free directory of skills and prompts for AI tools, with a community attached. It is run by one person, not a company. These terms are short on purpose — if something here is unclear, write and ask.
Using the app
You may use Skills AI for anything lawful, personal or commercial, without paying and without an account. The skills and prompts it lists come from other people's work under open licences; each one names its author and its licence, and those terms govern what you may do with that text. The Licences screen in the app carries every notice in full.
Accounts
An account is only needed for the community and for publishing. You must be at least 16, or the minimum age in your own country if it is lower. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is posted from your account.
Some usernames are held for the companies whose tools are listed here, so that they can claim their own name later. We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. If we do, you will be told why, and you can reply and argue the point — a decision made in a hurry can be wrong.
What you publish
You keep ownership of everything you write. By publishing it here you give us permission to store it, show it inside the app and on this site, and include it in the offline copy the app ships — worldwide, for free, and for as long as you leave it up. That permission ends for new copies when you delete it; copies already distributed inside installed apps cannot be recalled, which is a fact about how offline software works rather than a claim on your work.
Publish only what is yours to publish. Do not paste someone's private correspondence, paid course material, or a prompt you are under contract not to share.
Text only. There is no way to attach a file or anything that runs, and that is deliberate: a directory that hands executable content to somebody's agent is a supply chain, and this one is not staffed to be one.
What is not allowed
- Pretending to be someone else, or to be an official account of a company.
- Content that is illegal where it is read, or that targets a person or group with abuse.
- Sexual content involving minors, ever, under any framing. This is reported, not moderated.
- Malware, credential phishing, or a "skill" whose real purpose is to make a model produce one of the above.
- Spam, bulk posting, link farms, and posting the same thing to many threads.
- Answering "did it work?" dishonestly, or with more than one account, to move something up or down the ranking.
- Scraping at a rate that costs us money, or reselling access.
Reporting something
Everything published has a report action. Reports reach a person, not a threshold — ten reports from one account do not hide anything, and one accurate report is enough. If we remove something you published, we tell you what was removed and why, and you may reply to contest it. If we decline your report, you may ask for it to be looked at again.
For anything urgent or legal, write to us with a link and a sentence about the problem.
Ranking
Skills are ordered by whether people report that they worked, using a formula published in full on the Advertising & Support page. Likes are not an input, and neither is money: nobody can pay to be ranked higher, or to have a competitor removed.
Advertising
The app carries sponsored slots, always marked as such and always separate from the catalogue. They never look like a skill or a tool.
Brand names
The names and logos of the AI tools listed here belong to their owners. They appear to identify those products — which is what a directory of them is for — and nothing on this site or in this app means any of those companies made it, approved it or is connected with it.
No warranty
The app is provided as it is. A prompt that worked last month may not work with next month's model, and text written by strangers may be wrong. Check anything before you rely on it for something that matters. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what follows from using it.
Changes, ending, and law
These terms can change; the date at the top says when they last did, and anything significant will be announced in the app before it applies. You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account by writing to us.
The service is operated from servers in Germany and these terms are read under German law, without displacing any protection you have under the law of the country you live in as a consumer.
