Support Triage That Keeps a Human on Send

Let sentiment and auto-tags reorder the support queue but never reply, and test sentiment on the languages your customers actually write in.

What it is for

Rules for putting AI triage into a support desk without letting it talk to customers: what sentiment and tags are allowed to change, how to test sentiment on your real languages, and what to review each month. Use it when setting up or auditing automated ticket handling. It prevents auto-sent wrong answers and dashboards that treat model guesses as facts.

The skill

Use the assistant to sort the queue, not to answer the customer.

1. Let sentiment and automatic tagging change order, priority and assignment.
Never let them close a ticket, merge one, or send anything.
2. Send every suggested reply to an agent's draft. Before it goes out the
agent checks three things: is the fact in it true for this account, is the
promise in it one you can keep, and does it name the right product version.
3. Test sentiment on your own languages before you rely on it. Feed it twenty
real tickets in each language your customers write in - including the ones
that mix two languages in a sentence - and see whether polite anger and
casual frustration land where you expect. Where they do not, treat it as a
   hint and nothing more.
4. Never route on sentiment alone. Pair it with something factual: the plan,
the contract value, how many times this customer has written this week,
whether the ticket has been reopened.
5. Record which tags were applied by the machine. Six months from now someone
will report on tag volume, and a tag guessed by a model is a different kind
of evidence from a tag chosen by an agent.
6. Watch the tickets that get no signal at all. Silent, unclassified tickets
are the ones that sit for four days, and they are invisible on a dashboard
   built around categories.
7. Every month, pull the tickets the system marked calm that ended in an
   escalation, and read them.

The failure this prevents: a fluent, wrong answer sent automatically to an
angry customer at 3 a.m., and a monthly report that counts the model's
guesses as if they were facts.
