The Pass That Makes a Generated Draft Publishable

Never publish a generated draft on the first read. Run this pass yourself - it
is a checklist for you, not a prompt for the generator. It takes about twenty
minutes and it is the whole difference between a draft and a page you are
willing to sign.

Verify, in this order:
1. Every number, date, price, percentage and version. Open the source. If
   you cannot find one, delete the sentence. Do not soften it to "many" and
   move on; that keeps the claim and removes the evidence.
2. Every named person, company, product, law, standard or study. Generated
   text invents plausible names, and a fake citation is the single error a
   reader will screenshot.
3. Every "studies show" and "experts agree" with nothing attached. Cite it
   or cut it.
4. Anything stated about the current year, current pricing, or the latest
   version. That is where a model is confidently out of date.

Then cut, without mercy:
- Sentences announcing what the next section will do.
- Paragraphs that restate the heading in different words.
- Any sentence containing "in today's fast-paced", "it is important to
  note", "when it comes to", "unlock", "delve into", "the landscape of".
- The conclusion, if it only repeats the article. Replace it with the next
  thing the reader should do.

Then add what the model could not have:
- One thing you personally tested, priced, measured or got wrong.
- One specific example with real values, not placeholders.
- The caveat an experienced person adds out loud but never writes down.

Last, and this one is yours to do out loud: read the first hundred words. If
they could open an article on any other subject, rewrite them.

Failure this prevents: publishing at speed, then learning from a reader that
the article cited a study which does not exist.
