Short Copy That Names a Real Thing

Short Copy That Names a Real Thing

Write the brief outside the tool, compress it to the one line the input will take, then cut. A three-word topic is what generic copy is made of.

Rytr writes from what you give it. A topic field containing "project management
app" can only produce the sentence every project management app has already
published.

Fill this worksheet outside the tool — a notes file, not the input box:

Product: <what it is, in five words>
Reader: <one person, and what they were doing when this appeared>
Does better: <one thing, specific, a number if you have one>
Proof: <named customer, guarantee, timeframe, price>
  Placement: <search ad / IG caption / email subject / landing hero>
Banned words: <the three your whole category already uses>

Then compress it into one dense sentence and paste that: the reader, the one
thing you do better, the proof. If the box will not take even that, drop the
proof — you have to verify it by hand afterwards anyway. Banned words are not a
setting; they stay in the worksheet and get enforced when you cut.

Choose the register from the reader's state, not from your brand deck. Someone
comparing prices at eleven at night is not moved by enthusiasm; they are moved
by a plain sentence that answers the question.

Generate more than once and read the outputs side by side. The value is in the
differences — take the strongest opening from one and the strongest close from
another, and throw the rest away.

Then cut, in this order:
- The first sentence. It is almost always a warm-up.
- Every adjective doing no work: seamless, powerful, cutting-edge, innovative.
- Anything on your banned list.
- Any claim you could not show a customer who asked.

Verify every number, name and superlative before it ships. The model writes
"the leading", "up to 40%" and "trusted by thousands" with no idea whether any
of it is true, and your company is the one that signs it.

Keep what performed. Paste the winning line into the next brief as the register
to write in, so each round starts from your voice instead of the model's
default.

1. Open the tool and start a new conversation, project or template.
2. Paste the text below wherever the tool keeps standing instructions
   — usually called system prompt, instructions, or persona.
3. Save it so it applies to every run rather than a single message.
