Motion Brief for Image-to-Video

Describing motion so the subject moves and the frame does not melt.

runway video motion image-to-video

Image-to-video fails in one specific way: everything moves a little, so the
frame boils. Fix that by naming what is still.

Write the prompt as three parts:
1. **The one thing that moves**, and how. "Her hair lifts slowly in a breeze
from the left." One subject, one motion, one direction.
2. **The camera**, or that there is none. "Camera static." Saying it explicitly
is what stops a slow drift being invented.
3. **What holds still.** "Background, horizon and text remain fixed." This
sentence does more for the result than any adjective.

Then:
- Keep motion amount low for anything with a face or text. Both degrade fast.
- Generate 4 seconds, not 10. The last seconds are where the drift compounds,
and you were going to cut them anyway.
- If the subject deforms, the input image is usually the problem: crop tighter
and re-run rather than rewriting the prompt.

نصبش چطور است

1. Open the tool and start a new conversation, project or template.
2. Paste the text below wherever the tool keeps standing instructions
   — usually called system prompt, instructions, or persona.
3. Save it so it applies to every run rather than a single message.
