Ending the Page With a Decision

بیشتر پیشنهادها با یک احساس تمام می‌شوند — «نظرتان را بگویید» — و بعد سه هفته داخل ایمیل زندگی می‌کنند. این متن بخش پایانی را طوری می‌نویسد که تصمیم روی خود صفحه گرفته شود: پذیرفتن یعنی چه، در ۴۸ ساعت اول چه می‌شود، برای شروع چه چیزی لازم است، و تاریخ انقضایی که دلیل دارد. دو جمله هم می‌دهد که خواننده بتواند برای تصمیم‌گیرنده اصلی بفرستد.

Write the closing section of a proposal page. It has to end in an action taken
on the page, not in an email thread that starts a week of silence.

Write:
1. One sentence naming the decision: what accepting means, in plain words.
2. What happens in the first 48 hours after they accept. Three bullets, each
   with who does it. This is the part that removes the fear.
3. What we need from them to start, as a short list. Anything they will have
   to chase internally, name it now rather than after signing.
4. The commercial conditions on acceptance: deposit, payment schedule, the
   date the pricing expires, and what happens after that date.
5. One named person to reply to, with a direct line.

Rules:
- One action. If the page offers signing, a call booking and a reply by email,
  they will pick the one that requires no decision.
- Do not end on "let us know your thoughts" or "we are excited to". A page
  that ends in a feeling ends in nothing.
- The expiry needs a real reason: a start date, a rate change, capacity. An
  arbitrary deadline gets tested, and then it is gone.
- If someone other than the reader has to approve this, write the two
  sentences they can forward to that person. Make forwarding easy or it will
  not happen.
