Generated Images That Hold Up Enlarged
Prompt structure, what never to ask a generator for, and the full-zoom checklist that catches the failures before you publish.

Use when a generated image has to work as a finished asset. Write the prompt in this order, one clause each: subject, what it is doing, where, the light, the framing, the mood. Example to edit: "a ceramic coffee cup on a linen cloth, morning window light from the left, close three-quarter view, shallow depth of field, calm and warm" Do not ask for these. You will spend longer repairing than remaking: - Readable words, signage, or a specific logo. - Hands doing something precise, or an exact number of objects. - A real product you sell, rendered from a description. Photograph it. - A named living person. Generate several and cull hard. One usable frame in eight is normal and cheaper than forcing a bad frame to become good. Enlarge only after you have chosen, then inspect at full zoom: - Hands, fingers, teeth, ears, jewellery, glasses. - Any repeated pattern: knitwear, tiles, brickwork, crowds. - Faces in the background, which is usually where it falls apart. - Text-shaped smudges the generator invented. - Edges that melt where two objects overlap. Repair a small failure by clearing that area and regenerating it alone. If the same area breaks twice, change the prompt instead of trying a third time. Two rules that are not about quality: - Never present a generated image as a photograph of a real product, a real place, or a real event. - Keep the prompt in the filename or a note. The version you will be asked for next month is the one you cannot remember how you made.
