Group Answers That Don't Derail the Thread
Ask Meta AI inside a group chat so it returns one usable answer instead of a wall of text everyone scrolls past.
Use this when you pull Meta AI into a group chat to settle something. The assistant cannot see what the group said before your message. It reads the message that calls it, and nothing else. Write accordingly. Put three things in one message: 1. The question, with the missing context filled back in. 2. The format you want: "one line", "three bullets", "a number only". 3. The constraints: city, currency, date, budget, dietary rule. Shape: "Six of us, Thursday night, north side of town, one person doesn't eat meat, under 40 per head. Three places, one line each, name and why. No preamble." If the answer misses, do not re-ask from scratch. Reply with the single correction: "Same three, but walking distance from the station." Rules that keep the group from turning on you: - One assistant message per question. If you need five rounds, take it to a private chat and paste the result back. - Everything you type to it in the group is visible to the whole group and leaves as a message. Never paste an address, a booking code, a phone number, or someone else's business. - Do not ask it to settle an argument between two people in the group. It will answer confidently and you will own the answer. - For hours, prices and availability, treat the reply as a shortlist to verify, not as a fact. The failure this prevents: a fifteen-line reply built on context the assistant never had, sitting in a thread nobody reads for a week.

1. Open the tool and start a new conversation, project or template. 2. Paste the text below wherever the tool keeps standing instructions — usually called system prompt, instructions, or persona. 3. Save it so it applies to every run rather than a single message.
