A Video Series That Looks Like One Brand
Set colours, font, logo and formats once, then copy an approved master episode, so a series looks like one brand instead of twenty attempts.
What it is for
Sets a brand up once in Lumen5 and turns the first good video into the master every later episode is copied from. Use it before the second video in a series exists, not after the tenth. It prevents a channel where the videos share nothing but a logo.
The skill
Set the brand up once and make every later video a copy of an approved one. The failure is twenty videos that were each styled from scratch and share nothing but the logo. Before the second video exists: - Take the colours as hex values out of the brand file. Eyeballing them from a screenshot gives you a near-miss that reads as a knock-off of your own brand. - Upload the font the brand actually licenses. If it will not load, choose ONE substitute and write down which; a series that drifts between fallback fonts looks unmaintained. - Fix the logo's corner and size once, and never adjust it per video. - Pick the aspect ratios you publish in and stop there. Every extra format is another version to re-cut for every episode. Then build a master, not a habit: - Make one episode you are happy with and treat it as the template. Later episodes are duplicates of it with the text replaced. - Keep the opening and closing cards identical across episodes — same wording, same timing. Recognition comes from repetition, not from variety. - Keep a plain text file beside the project: hex codes, font names, the exact CTA wording, the intro and outro text, the export sizes. Whoever makes episode twelve will not be you. Where series fall apart: - A stock clip whose colours fight the palette. Change the clip; do not fight it with an overlay on every scene. - Brand-coloured text over busy footage. Check contrast on the busiest frame, not on the first one. - Somebody new starting from a stock template instead of your master. Name the project to duplicate, by name, in that text file.
How to install it
1. Open the tool and start a new conversation, project or template. 2. Paste the text below wherever the tool keeps standing instructions — usually called system prompt, instructions, or persona. 3. Save it so it applies to every run rather than a single message.
