Citations That Survive Opposing Counsel
A row-by-row check of every authority in an AI draft — pinpoint, holding, treatment — before it goes into anything you sign.

Here is a draft with citations in it. Before I rely on any of it, run this check and report it as a table, one row per authority. For each authority in the draft, give me: - Case name, court, year, and the exact pinpoint page for the proposition. - The proposition as the draft states it, in the draft's own words. - Whether the cited page actually supports that proposition: SUPPORTS, PARTIAL, or DOES NOT SUPPORT. Quote the sentence you are relying on. - Treatment: reversed, overruled, superseded, questioned, limited. Say what treated it and how. - Whether it is binding in [jurisdiction] at [court level]. Rules: - An authority you cannot locate is not "probably fine". Mark it NOT FOUND and repeat it in the summary line. - Do not repair a weak citation silently by swapping in a different case. If the proposition needs other support, list it separately as a proposed replacement and say so. - Quotation marks in the draft are a promise. Compare quoted text word for word against the source and flag every difference, including an ellipsis that removes a qualifier. - Parentheticals are claims too. Check them. - Check the same way whether I wrote the sentence or you did. Finish with one line: authorities checked, how many NOT FOUND, how many with negative treatment. Then I Shepardize every row myself. Your pass does not replace that, and I do not want language suggesting it does.
