A House Style That Holds Across a Batch

A House Style That Holds Across a Batch

Vary everything in the reference set except the look, or you teach it a subject and a pose instead of a style.

What it is for

How to assemble a reference or training set that teaches a look rather than a subject, and how to prompt against it once it exists. Use it when a batch has to read as one campaign, one deck or one product line. It prevents the trained style that only knows how to make the same picture again.

The skill

The point of a saved or trained style is that image forty looks like image one.
The usual failure is that it also drags along whatever was IN the reference
pictures, so every output arrives with the same subject, the same pose and the
same camera.

Build the reference set so the look is the only constant:

- Twenty or more images if the tool allows, and vary everything except the
rendering. Different subjects, distances, compositions, times of day.
Whatever is constant across the set is what gets learned — make sure that is
  the treatment, not the content.
- Cut anything atypical. Five odd images in thirty do not average away.
They come back as a recurring artefact you cannot prompt around.
- One medium per style. Watercolour and 3D render in one set produces an
average of the two that is neither.
- No text, no watermarks, no logos anywhere in the references. They are
learned as decoration and reappear as smears.

Then use it honestly:

- Describe CONTENT in the prompt and let the style carry the look. Repeating
style words the reference already encodes fights it and pulls the output back
  toward generic.
- Fix one aspect ratio for the whole batch before you start. A shape change
alone is enough to break the family resemblance.
- Generate the batch in one sitting on one setting, then choose. Tuning between
images is how you end up with forty pictures and no set.

Judge it as a grid of nine, never one image at a time. A style is a property of
the group, and you cannot see it in a single picture.

How to install it

1. Open the tool and start a new conversation, project or template.
2. Paste the text below wherever the tool keeps standing instructions
   — usually called system prompt, instructions, or persona.
3. Save it so it applies to every run rather than a single message.
