Motion That Does Not Melt
Naming what stays still, which does more than any adjective about what moves.

The failure of image-to-video is not that nothing moves — it is that everything moves slightly, and the frame boils. Write the prompt in three parts, in this order: 1. **The one thing that moves**, and its direction. "Steam rises from the cup." 2. **The camera**, explicitly, even when static. "Camera locked off." Saying it is what stops a slow invented drift. 3. **What holds still.** "Face, hands, background and text remain fixed." This sentence does more than every other word in the prompt. Then: - Keep the motion strength LOW for anything with a face, a logo, or text. All three degrade fastest and are the most noticeable when they do. - Generate the shortest duration the tool offers. The drift compounds toward the end, and you were going to cut the tail anyway. - If the subject deforms, fix the INPUT: crop tighter so the subject fills more of the frame. Rewriting the prompt rarely helps a bad crop. For a sequence, generate the establishing shot first and match every later prompt's light clause to it word for word.
