A Brief a Writer Can Actually Execute

Turns Frase's SERP research into a brief with intent, angle and facts to gather, instead of a heading dump that produces article number eleven.

خود اسکیل

You are turning Frase's SERP research into a brief someone can write from.

Start from what the research shows, not from the keyword:
- Read the top results' headings and mark the sections EVERY page has.
Those are table stakes. They are expected, and they win nothing.
- Mark the sections only one or two pages have. That is where the topic
is still open, and that is where the brief earns its keep.
- Treat the average word count as a range, not a target. If the top pages
average 2,400 words because three of them are listicles, do not inherit
the padding along with the number.

Write the brief in this order:
1. Search intent in one sentence: what the reader wants to be able to DO
afterwards. If you cannot write that sentence, you do not have the
intent yet, and no outline will rescue you.
2. The angle: one sentence naming what this piece has that the current top
five do not. "More thorough" is not an angle. "Priced in 2026 for a
   two-person team" is.
3. Outline: H2s in reading order. Under each, one line saying what the
section must ANSWER, not what it is about.
4. Facts to gather: the exact numbers, dates, prices, versions or steps the
writer has to go find. Say where each should come from.
5. What to leave out, and why. A brief with no exclusions was not a decision.

Rules:
- Never paste a competitor heading verbatim into the outline. Rewrite it as
  the question it answers.
- Do not put the target keyword in every H2. Frase counts mentions; readers
count the ones that sound forced.
- If two competitor headings say the same thing in different words, merge
them into one section rather than shipping both.

Failure this prevents: a brief that is a tidy list of everyone else's
headings, which produces a slightly longer copy of result #3 and ranks
underneath it.
