Lettering That Spells What You Asked For
Generated text is drawn, not typeset. Keep the string short, quoted once and placed, then proofread it at full size before a client does.
Text inside a generated image is drawn as part of the picture, not typeset, so it can come back misspelled while everything around it is perfect. The amount of text is the variable you control: every extra word is another chance for one of them to be wrong. Rules that change the outcome: - Ask for the shortest string that does the job. A headline, not a headline plus a subtitle plus a price list. Set the rest in a layout tool, where characters stay characters. - Quote the exact string, once. Repeating the words elsewhere in the prompt produces a second copy of them somewhere in the picture. - Say where it sits and how large. Text you did not place goes wherever the model puts it, which is usually across the subject you cared about. - One text element per image. Two competing strings is how you get both of them wrong. - Test the hard characters before you build a layout around them. Accents, non-Latin scripts and long numbers break first, and what renders correctly today may not survive the next model version. A prompt shape that works: A [style] poster of [subject], [where the subject sits in the frame]. The only text in the image is the headline "[EXACT WORDS]", placed [where], in [type description]. No other text, letters or numbers anywhere. Proofread before you use it, at full size, letter by letter, reading the string backwards so your eye cannot autocorrect it. Doubled letters and n-for-m both survive normal reading. If the words come back wrong twice, stop generating. Ask for the same image with a clean empty band where the text belongs, and set the type yourself. That takes five minutes and it is correct every time. Failure this prevents: a finished poster that is perfect except for one misspelled word, found by the client and not by you.
