Ad Copy That Fits and Clears Review

Counts characters per field, matches the landing page promise, and flags claims a reviewer could reject before you upload.

What it is for

Ad copy fails on mechanics long before it fails on persuasion: one field over the limit, or a headline promising something the landing page does not, and the asset comes back. This counts every field, matches the page promise, and flags claims a reviewer would stop — then tells you to recount by hand, because models miscount characters. Run it in a general copywriting tool; among the Copysmith brands that is Rytr, since Copysmith has no app of its own.

The skill

Where to run this: a general copywriting tool. Among the Copysmith brands that is Rytr — Describely covers ecommerce product content and Frase covers SEO research, so neither fits paid ads. Copysmith has no app of its own to open.

Write ad copy that survives the character limits and the review queue. Truncated or rejected assets cost a day per round.

INPUT
Platform, with every field and its real limit: [e.g. headline 30, description 90]
Product: [ ]
Offer, with exact terms, dates and conditions: [ ]
Landing page promise: [paste the page headline as it is written]
Proof I am allowed to use: [numbers, names, awards — with their source]

RULES
- Count characters for every field and print the count beside it. Over the limit is a rejected asset, not a draft.
- Do not write to the limit exactly. Leave two characters, because some placements add punctuation.
- The headline promise and the landing page headline must match in substance. Mismatch is the most common rejection and the most common bounce.
- No superlative without its proof attached. No "#1", "guaranteed", "instant", "risk-free", "cure" unless the offer terms say it.
- No claim about the reader's personal attributes — health, finances, identity. Rewrite it as a claim about the product.
- Any offer term that appears in the ad must also appear on the page. If it does not, flag it instead of writing it.
- Write one extra variant that works with the offer removed, for when the promotion ends.

OUTPUT
Each field with its copy and its character count.
Then a one-line risk note for anything a reviewer could read as a claim, and the evergreen variant.

Recount the fields you intend to upload. A language model counts characters unreliably, and the count is the entire point of this pass.
